Robert has headed the kitchen at Winteringham Fields for two years. In 2004, he beat off competition from every other up-and-coming chef in Britain to be named "Young Chef of the Year" at a glittering Awards ceremony at London's Savoy Hotel. He aspires to helping Winteringham Fields achieve its third Michelin star.

Robert has now taken the task of heading up the kitchen at Waldo"s in Berkshire.

 
 



Celebrity chef and champion of local/ Lincolnshire produce, Rachel Green is continuing her campaign to promote locally sourced produce by endorsing Mr Huda's Surma Secrets range of herb and spice mixes.

Rachel, who regularly appears on television and delivers cooking demonstrations across the UK will act as a brand ambassador for the Mr Huda's Surma Secrets range.

Developed after years of use in the Surma Restaurant, Mr Huda's Surma Secrets range help people recreate Indian restaurant cuisine in their own homes.

Rachel comments: "I've been a big fan of the Mr Huda's range for some time now and often use it at home. Mr Huda's is the perfect accompaniment to any good quality produce. I can't wait to start spreading the word."

Rachel will be utilising the versatile and delicious curry pastes in her forthcoming summer road shows and will be developing a range of new and exciting recipes that will be available on Mr Huda's website shortly.

Monty Martin practiced as a solicitor in Scunthorpe and Barton for many years. After selling his business interests, he qualified in catering at Scunthorpe College and after a brief period at Winteringham Fields, formed his own catering company. He now combines legal publishing with an appointment from the Ministry of Justice.

Still retaining a keen interest in local food and drink, Monty publishes a North Lincolnshire Food and Drink magazine "Scoff", and has been a customer of The Surma in Barton upon Humber since the day it opened.
